Hats Off Everyone...

Congratulations Steve and Trenton!!
Since pretty much everyone who reads this blog will know who I'm talking about I just wanted to say that those two have been busting their butts on a miserable job that the rest of us would probably have quit over. So if you see either of them give them a pat on the back and buy them dinner or something. :) They deserve some appreciation!!

CVS Deals

Although technically I only spent 63 cents, I used $16.92 in Extra Care Bucks and only got $11.95 Extra Care Bucks back so when I calculate how much I spent it comes out to $5.60. So its not great but it was really fun just to do a deal again. To let you know how long it has been, my extra care bucks expired in May. :)
I thought I'd post a picture to help inspire me to keep doing deals. Sometimes I don't want to take the time to clip coupons and everything. But it really is so worth it. Its also fun to be able to try out products like the Purex 3-in-1 that I would never buy otherwise.

Some people just aren't nick-name people...

...as you know, I am not one of them. Out of boredom and curiosity I wrote a list of all the nick-names I use for Libby on a daily basis:

Libber-valves
Valves
Valvies
Rat
Touilles
Touille-turd

Nuzzles

So now you know. :)

Song of the day

Does/did anybody listen to all the songs I linked to? I'm just curious. Nobody ever said anything about them. Well, here are some cool songs I thought I'd share from mine and Trenton's road trip:

Walk the World
What a Shame

I've discovered a whole new world of humor since Trenton came to stay.

Race Day Pictures

I finally took my camera somewhere with me!

Here we are, looking not to bad considering the night before.

Me and Grandpa

Cassie and Caleb: the world's cutest couple.

Aunt Midge, Wyatt and April sitting in the swing.

Uncle Bob, Bobby and Grandma

Britney

Playing cornhole

Some more pictures of Wyatt cause he's just so adorable!

Cassie; being Cassie. :)

You never know what pictures you might come across if you carry your camera around all day. We didn't tell him that that happened to everyone who sat in it. :)

Bobby and Brenda

My new favorite drink. But apparently you can only buy it in Mexico (if you're going can you pick me up a bottle?)

Dan took a liking to this little thing.

I guess its sorta cute.

Singing karaoke.

(Yes. (On the far right) She always wears her pants that high. I'm sure she's related somehow, but you never want to get stuck in a conversation with her because it will last for hours. Oh, and she talks a lot about her bull riding and sky diving experiences.)

Lets just say the score wasn't quite what he thought it would be. :)

Yay for holidy weekends!

One more week of work until our trip!

This last weekend has been busy and fun too, though.

Friday night we went and saw the 2nd Night at the Museum movie. When we got there it was already sold out so we walked around the out door mall for awhile. It was an absolutely gorgeous night if you can remember - I had to stop and think for a second to remember back to Friday night myself. It was a funny movie with random actors from the office popping up everywhere.

Saturday was Mike and Missy's bachelor/bachelorette party. Once the party got going again after the fog machine set the smoke detectors off and the fire department came, everyone was gathered around and they got married right there! It was a total surprise! They're getting married by the Justice of Peace next Friday but since one of their friends just became a pastor, he did a little ceremony right there. It was really neat. I wish we'd had that idea for our wedding. ;) We didn't get home til 4:30am though.

With it being race day yesterday we didn't get a chance to sleep in because the family race party is one of the years most looked forward to events. So we arrived at Dan's cousin's house with corn hole in toe and spent the day eating, laughing and playing corn hole tournaments - which Dan will love for me to say: he and Brent won. Once it got dark, the bonfire was started and the after-party began. We sang karaoke and even played corn hole by candle light. When Chris got there, we debated whether we should attempt the drive home or join the people already passed out in the family room. Since Libby had been closed up for so long for the second day in row we headed home. I think that our curfew must be 4:30 or something because I remember seeing 4:15 in the car.

But today we were able to sleep in. We went and saw Terminator this afternoon, ate cinnamon pretzels with cedar cheese and have just been having fun hanging out with Chris.

It was suppose to be Dad's birthday party today but Lizzy and Steve are sick, Dad got called into work this morning, and Dan was going to stay here with Chris so we are going to replan it.

It's been a fun Memorial Day, but nobody around here cares about the soldiers. Chris had to wear his uniform today and of all the places we went only one person thanked him for all he did. I guess when you live in the racing capitol of the world the highlight of this weekend is the race, not the people who have died - or in Chris's case almost died for our country.

You know that house on the corner of 96th and Fall Creek that has been vacant for 5+ years? Today, on the way home from seeing Brenda and Kevin, we were bored so we stopped by to peek in the windows and what do you know, the door was standing open. It is an awesome house! The floor plan is really cool. It was creepy though because it's old and run down and it had already gotten dark out side. But now we all want to buy it. I've always admired the u-shaped drive way and everything else I could see from the road, but the inside is even better.

Anyway there is a recap of our weekend - I'm trying to do better about blogging. lol So hope you enjoyed. Now I'm ready to get some sleep tonight. :)
